MIS-SING ONE
dance, humour and poetry performance
by Yui Kawaguchi (Japan) – NATIONAL PREMIERE
3 December at 20:45
Convitto Palmieri – Lecce
In medieval Japanese folklore, it was believed that old instruments and containers, after existing for one hundred years, would gain a spiritual essence and become “tsukumogami” (a term referring to any object that becomes sentient and alive after its hundredth birthday). In this solo performance, Yui Kawaguchi explores the abyss of aging that connects all living beings, blending elements of folklore with humor and poetry.
