QUALCOSA DI GRANDE – The compilation of millennials

theater and music performance – NATIONAL PREMIERE

Maestrale Teatro and Accademia Mediterranea dell’Attore

31 July and 1 August at 20:45
Chiostro dei Teatini – Lecce

A show that combines theatre and music to narrate the nostalgia and complexity of the millennial generation. Through characters dealing with anxiety about the future and the frustration of the present, the show explores the historical moments of the 2000s, such as the introduction of the euro, 9/11, and the economic crisis. The music of that era, in particular the album “…Squerez?” by Lùnapop, creates a temporal bridge between past and present, with the song “50 Special” celebrating the 25th anniversary. Six actors perform a cover of “Qualcosa di grande”, combining live music and memories in a style that mixes musical and stand-up comedy.
