Don’t dream alone è un programma di incontri per condividere sguardi, sensibilità, azioni, pensieri proiettati sul mondo, su linguaggi e pratiche differenti che possono aiutarci a esplorare, comprendere e illustrare la complessità del reale. Una finestra aperta tra realtà e immaginazione dove non esiste un limite ma un movimento, un divenire consapevole che la realtà di questi tempi strani ci impone. Filosofia, arti visive e performative, menti e corpi agonisti e antagonisti che ci parlano di una necessaria mescolanza permanente di singolare e collettivo per dare una spinta verso uno sforzo d’immaginazione comune e a una modificazione dei paradigmi di lettura del reale.
La città è fatta di edifici, strade e piazze, piante, animali, aria e informazioni, cioè corpi che si relazionano fra di loro e con i nostri corpi. Cori che sono oggetti materiali ma anche «desideri e memoria di spazi, di pratiche, di altri corpi», come ha scritto Cristina Bianchetti nel recente Le mura di Troia. Lo spazio ricompone i corpi (Donzelli 2023). Con Fabio Novembre l’attenzione non potrà non cadere anche su Lecce e sul suo mood barocco.
Don’t dream alone is a program of meetings that try to share hypotheses, analyzes, thoughts about our time. We are as if suspended between a world that is no longer and one that is not yet. The feeling of living in an increasingly reduced, toxic and polluted world inevitably places us in front of an awareness and a modification of the paradigms of reading reality. The attempt is to give our bodies and minds tools to orient themselves. Without orientation, we cannot explore unknown territories, and we would be lost. Philosophy, visual and performing arts, agonist and antagonistic minds and bodies that speak to us of a necessary permanent mixture of the sinqular and the collective to give a push towards a common imaginative effort. An open window between reality and imagination where there is no limit but a movement, a becoming aware that the reality of these strange times imposes on us. Don’ t dream alone is an invitation to dream together the worlds to come.
The city is made up of buildings, streets and squares, plants, animals, air and information. that is, bodies that relate to each other and to our bodies. Bodies that are material objects but also “desires and memories of spaces, of practices, of other bodies as Cristina Bianchetti wrote in her recent Le mura di Troja. Lo spazio ricompone i corpi (Donzelli 2023) With Fabio Novembre, attention cannot fail to fall also on Lecce and its baroque mood.
